Let Us Pray

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Latin
Ave Maria
Ave Maria, gratia plena,
Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,

Amen.

With one heart the disciples continued steadfast in prayer with Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
(Acts 1:14)

Lord our God, as the Blessed Virgin was at prayer with the apostles You poured out on her in abundance the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Grant through her intercession that we too, being filled with the same Spirit, may persevere with one mind in prayer and bring to the world around us the good news of salvation.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.

O Holy Spirit, soul of my soul, I adore You.  Enlighten, guide, strengthen and console me.  Tell me what I ought to do and command me to do it.  I promise to be submissive to everything that you permit to happen to me.  Show me only what is Your will.

Grant me the Spirit of Knowledge, that I may know God and know myself, and grow perfect in the science of the Saints.

Friday – Piety

Saturday – Fear of the Lord

Come Holy Spirit:

O God, grant that our constant prayers may make us deserving of the Holy Spirit.  We are grateful for all the graces and lights we have received.  With His continued assistance may we attain the perfection in the state of life to which You have called us.  This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ, Your Son.  Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus
I Commit this Day to You

Merciful Heart of Jesus, today, in return for Your great love for me, I renew the covenant of love I made with You on the day of my Baptism and which You renew each time You offer Yourself to the Father in the Eucharist.  I consecrate myself, family, and all my undertakings to Your loving Heart.  I offer to bring the message of love and mercy that emanates from Your Sacred Heart to all who will listen.  “Send forth Your Holy Spirit and You shall renew the face of the earth!”

I ask this through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your Mother.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee do I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but, in thy mercy, hear and answer them. Amen.

The Prayer of Saint Francis before the Crucifix of San Damiano

Most high, glorious God,
cast your light into the darkness of my heart.
Give me, Lord, right faith, firm hope,
perfect charity and profound humility,
with wisdom and perception,
so that I may carry out
what is truly Your holy will.
Amen.
